Hi again,
I checked my kernel carefully and figured out that I had enabled the
AGPGART stuff. This is not needed, since nvidia provides its own
kernel module for accessing the AGP bus. Now anything works almost fine,
after a clean recompile.

Hi,
I am using Debian unstable with the nvidia-kernel-src and
nvidia-glx-src packages. When I used a gl app, often X crashes after
or while closing such apps (most often GL apps hang when I try to
close them). On my console I see a message as follows:
NV0: still have vm que at nv_close(): 0x4001
