Then please upgrade your kernel to 2.6.5-4 or above. The 2.6.5-3 release contained code which attempted to load firmware for Radeon/R128 from userspace that fails miserably when the firmware files aren't available. This has been reverted for now. I apologise for any inconvenience caused. -- Deb
