This issue is known and patches have been provided by the systemd maintainers See https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=747882 It's unfortunate that those haven't been applied yet to the xinit patches but there is not a lot that the systemd maintainers can do about that.
