Thanks for valuable input. I have plans to work on a tigervnc package
but as you have probably understood that kind of work will take a lot
of effort and available time is rather sparse for me now...
Any help on creating such a package is warmly welcome.

Redhat, and OpenSolaris, amongst others are switching from RealVNC to
tigervnc, as RealVNC seem to have dropped their opensourc
