Do you have the focus prevention setting enabled? For example I have a similar issue with the Run dialog (commonly alt+f2 on kde). I press alt+f2 and it remains in background. This is a very old issue, that they introduced in the 0.3.x branch and they never fixed. Does is it similar to your pr
