Hi,
About a year ago, you reported a bug to the Debian BTS regarding a
freeze of the machine when xscreensaver runs. Did you reproduce this
problem recently? With Xorg/Etch? With latest xserver-xorg-core and
drivers? If not, I will close this bug in the next weeks.
Thanks,
Brice

Can you confirm this occurs in the newest xserver-xorg packages? If not I
would like to close this issue.
Thank you,
Shawn.

Package: xserver-xorg
Version: 1:7.0.12
Severity: critical
Justification: breaks the whole system
Xscreensaver freezes the system, no 'control+alt+backspace', no
'control+alt+F?' functionality. Only unpluging the cord works. The
solution I have found is to disable Xscreensaver.
