Bug#279940: nspluginviewer could be the memory hog

I just disabled flash plugins (konqueror->settings->plugins) and I my memory consumption isn't atrocious. My uptime is now 3d, with 50% swap free and some RAM free as well. In the earlier setting, with the exact same kernel and X, I didn't get more than 2d of uptime w/o running out of memory.
