I reported that an upgrade hosed my system because xfree86-xserver failed to install. Well, a bit *more* perusing the bugs list (yes, I *did* look before reporting, but failed to find the relevant bug ...) led me to create the symlink /usr/lib/libcurl.so.2 --> /usr/lib/so.3.0.0, which unlocked
