I get the same problems with a Radeon 7000VE (RV100) at 1600x1200 @ 85 Hz @ 24 bit it gets even worse when you try and run two heads at that resolution. Which the card is supposed to be able to do. Setting: Option "NoAccel" "true" In the driver fixes the problem however it makes X unusable slow.
