Additional info: I upgraded the mesa packages to the new 24.0.2-1
version, same problem.
Hello,
Same issue for me, same symptoms, I was using lightdm with autologin and
a kodi session, but any other session triggers the same bug.

Dear Maintainer,
I confirm this issue.
I experienced it with an AMD R7 240 graphics card[1] on a regular Debian
Sid host running kernel 6.6.15.
Booting with the previous kernel (6.6.13) did not change the situation
but I confirm "Accel" "no", as suggested by Grégory, is a suitable

Dear Maintainer,
Two others points:
1) Disabling "Accel" in X allows me to use my graphical session (sddm/lxqt)
I create a file /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-radeonenvrac.conf
with in it:
Section "Device"
Identifier "radeaonenvrac"
Drive
Package: libgl1-mesa-dri
Version: 24.0.1-1
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
after the latest upgrade it's impossible for me to run a display manager
or startx any window manager; after at most a few seconds / keypresses /
mouse movements the screen freezes, completely unresponsive to anything
