Since several people have been mailing me asking if I found a fix for
the problem I will post it here.
Egbert Eich told me that patch is o.k. and that he will check in a
similar one into cvs.

from the module loader), there is simply no way to debug a SIGSEGV

cannot believe it's a hardware failure: This is on my laptop which has

I tried using the Debain XF 4.1.0 packages (version pre1v1.1 IIRC) lately on my
Laptop. But it crashed. I used the same settings that I use with XF 4.0.3.
Anyone who knows whats wrong?
