I don't understand:
Package: xfree86-common
I have a similar problem, and I have debianutils installed. My error message
reads:
/etc/X11/Xsession: run-parts:: No such file or directory
Previous packaging revisions of XFree86 from Branden's repository worked
fine. All of my XFree86 packages are 4.1.0-6pre7v3.
I'd be happy to provide mo

Same here. I can't offer a resolution, but I'm working around it
temporarily by `sh /etc/X11/xinit/xserverrc` from one virtual term and
then `export DISPLAY=:0 && blackbox &` from another. Yes, I know it's
terrible kludgery, insecure, and Not The Right Way, but besides the startx
bit, 4.1.0-6pre7v3
I get an error in my .xsession-errors that reads:
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xinit/xinitrc: run-parts:: No such file or directory
I don't know where to go to fix this.
Same here. I can't offer a resolution, but I'm working around it
temporarily by `sh /etc/X11/xinit/xserverrc` from one virtual term and
then `export DISPLAY=:0 && blackbox &` from another. Yes, I know it's
terrible kludgery, insecure, and Not The Right Way, but besides the startx

I get an error in my .xsession-errors that reads:
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xinit/xinitrc: run-parts:: No such file or directory
