Another crash, this time it occurred when skipping through a video in
VLC.
I should mention that this is an up-to-date Sid install.

I opened a video in VLC, the sound was way too loud so I hit the space
key to pause it, but Xorg crashed.

Some of the (xserver?) updates pushed to unstable a few days ago (I
believe it was the 8th) conflicted with the virtualbox-guest-x11
package. I haven't noticed anything about this at all on either xserver
or virtualbox mailing lists or bug trackers, so I thought I'd check in here.
