Hi all, i recently was finally able to get my laptop and network
connection debian-ized but when i try to install task-x-window
and startx debvonf,
i get an x-window briefly and then it says
:Cant open card database?
ideas?

i believe you cant 'apt-get --reconfigure xserver-common'
and select 'anybbody' to starts windows.
if that is wrong
go to

i saw on on tomshardware site that worked for 2.2
is it essentialy the same for 2.4?
when i tried it with 2.4 and nvdriver, i get a screen that just blinks off
and on.
