Hi, I see now that this constraint comes from xinit. man xinit says: xinit [ [ client ] options ] [ -- [ server ] [ display ] options ] man startx says: startx [ [ client ] options ... ] [ -- [ server ] options ... ] I think man xinit is nicer, since it shows you that display -- if given
