Sorry, I was too quick. Bug is still there and changing gdm.conf does
not help.
I also tested it with X packages from backports (just dist-upgraded to
backports). The bug is still there.

I have a dual seat configuration. I noticed that keyboard input from one of the
seats is sent to the virtual terminal (which is invisible). I found out this
indirectly.
What I observe looks like another login which happens in parallel. B
use built-in nvidia card on mainboard M2NPV-VM
lspci:
00:05.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation C51PV [GeForce
6150] (rev a2)
I have 32-bit system with 64-bit kernel 2.6.26-2-amd64.
