I installed the package using 'APT::Default-Release "stable";' in
/etc/apt/apt.conf to keep my installalation stable with only the
required packages from unstable.
This gave me:
laptop-rpl:~# apt-get -t unstable install xserver-xorg-core

sure, I will install the new package.
I would like to do a system backup before installing, because I am
running etch. As I am on a business trip today and tomorrow, I will
install the new package by end of this week.
