xorg crashes rather often during periods of inactivity either when on
savescreen or on lid closed. I'm unable to trigger this reliably though.

After the last upgrade, the driver causes the mouse pointer to
disappear. The pointer is working, just not visible.

Hi all. I have the same problem (also on Dell Optiplex 745) and
downgrading did not help. I temporarily switched to vesa driver: any
hint on when a proper solution will be available?

The bug is still present in the new version of the package.
This puzzles me, as it seems to have been been fixed upstream since long
(see previous reports).
