when saving a (changed) buffer to file xedit complains 'Save: No
changes need to be saved, Save again to override.' and does not save
anything.
second button press succeeds (as message indicates).

Hi,
i had a similar effect as described in this bug report. i use more or
less simple config (us_intl) but got that message when i logged into
gnome.
i tested the file and now everything's fine again.
