at home runnong Etch and 3 servers. Everything is
fine. :-)
But I can not remember how the problem was fixed. With a new driver
or if it was a mistake of mine.

Upgrade from xserver-xorg-dbg 6.9.0.dfsg.1-6 to 7.0.14.
Xserver freezes, hangs, I don't know, the screen is black.
On xorg.conf you'll see the touchpad disabled because xserver hanged
at that point. I tried to comment the line concerning the touch
