I forgot to say in teh reportbug that the problem is present also using
vesa driver, with an inportant difference: while usoingo openchrome driver
the problem is in the cursor only , using vesa it "works" (without
mouse) only if we put the memory size (on etch it figured it automaticllay)

The part of the bug i reported was (by you) marked as a "feature", that is
a change in the default behaviour of the program after an upgrade,
requiring to change by hand one of the configuration files.
so could be _just for my part of the bug report_ considered closed

After upgrading i do not longer have access to port 6000, that is, I cannot
act, even after giving xhost + , access on xcommand -display localh
say --force-depends and then it install, and
works. nearly. BUG: the XFConfig86-4 is changed with a new one
every time I reinstall, giving a wrong mouse configuration, rather
than asking if it have to keep current one !
