but it is not built during the Debian binary packages creation. Could you
please build it?

deo chip is able to do XVideo :>.
Just to be sure, I tested again with xserver-xfree86 and I cannot
reproduce the crash any longer! I even started the same applications I
had running along mplayer and still no crash.
I suggest that we blame poor hardware and that you close this bug.
