I installed etch from a beta3 CD and upgraded to sid. After installing
xserver-xorg to satisfy the dependency of fglrx-driver, I got a dialog
box saying:

Hi,
What's the status of this bug? It is blocking me from uploading AbiWord,
which has a RC fix or two going for it, because it won't build due to
this missing libxcursor.la.
Thanks,

Hi,
r300_dri.so is missing from /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/dri, because it's not
in the MANIFEST.i386.
This is the only file I waited a long time for experimental for :(
Thanks

David Schleef pointed this one out to me this afternoon. With dash as
/bin/sh, xfree86-common.config can't be processed. The attached patch
fixes it - basically, dash wants 'EOF' on its own

It seems that there is a problem with fr.po, sigh. But it is not
critical:

A friend with a nVidia card has also been experiencing this equally
sporadically. I don't see the correlation so maybe it is not a problem
