Sometimes xterm last lines are not shown, pressing enter forces them to appear.
This happen with xterm running on an amd4 machine but displayed in a

I had similar problems using dual monitors.
Secondary monitor work for few minutes at most and turned off reporting
wrong dvi or unplugged. using GeForce 8600 GT.
Quite often getting the BIOS to complain while booting up about broken
graphic card hardware.
Worked well on wheezy so followed Oz apt

I have a IBM Thinkpad T61 (Type 7663-B93) that has a Brazillian ABNT2 keyboard.
Talking with IBM Support I discover thar this key is a Right Control ,
and was changed to slash/question.
To solve this problem I create a .
not close the lid because my laptop (Dell 510m) freezes.
Sometimes the laptop is also freezed without the black screen of death.
People from X.Org are now working more seriously on the bug, but indeed is not
resolved yet.

Hi Brice,
I tested the experimental intel driver (2.0.0-5), and DO NOT work. The effects
are the same: some flickering, and the screen black (I think the LCD
back-light is switched off...). I attach the Xorg log in case it may help.

I have already fixed it setting up correctly kde keyboard preferences
(105keys keyboard) and XFree Config. I think after a lot of testing
some clients were changing keyboard (kde control panel) in my sessions
and I am not sure if some xfree86 upgrade had something to do too, but
now It works f
ted some packages, but since I don't know the exact
day where the reported problem disappeared I can't suggest a specific
package responsible for the fix.
So the bug doesn't happen for me anymore, and maybe the bug is gone.
