Greetings,
the kde / kdm crash seems not to be caused by xserver-xfree86, because it
happens with ssh -X as well.
A friend of mine, asked for a strace [1] thinks it is a kernel-problem.
However, the missing sysmbols probably do not cause any trouble down here.

I'm not sure wheter this is a xserver bug, but for me it is not possible to
draw a connection to the correct package.
