Followup-For: Bug #730351
Because my system is really unstable since I encountered this bug, I tried
wiping everything and installed Jessie from scratch. Turns out I get the same
behaviour, just worse. Now gnome-shell as well as xorg go crazy with CPU usage.

either the patch by op didn't work for me or I did something wrong. I
need the i386 package to run games on playonlinux via wine and other
programs.
Is there any way I can get this to work? Or would it be possible to add
multiarch support for this package, since it is really important to
