ound is to remove libGLU when creating libqt
if you have the qt source tree, you do
cd $QTDIR/src
edit Makefile and remove -lGLU
rm $QTDIR/lib/*
make
if you don't have the qt tree then apt-get source is your friend
after that everything works except the screensaver(or any apps depending on
