Sometimes when typing Ctrl+Backspace the XServer finishes as if Ctrl+Alt+BS
was pressed. Neiter dmesg nor var/log/Xorg.log indicates anything odd

When launching a second X server (e.g. using "startx -- :1"), for the
second X Server the keyboard behaves badly. Pressing arbitary keys
results in the resolution to be switched around (like what usually
happens with Ctrl + A
Perhaps I should provide some additional information. I executed the
following apt-get command that led to the error:
