I start xvidtune (from a terminal window).
I expect the xvidtune program window (and the usual warning window) to
pop up.
What happens instead is that I get the following error m
In addition to the applications previously reported, this bug also
affects xload and display (imagemagick).

I am using Debian Sarge. After an upgrade 29th september, I have got
font problems with several programs (at least emacs, Adobe acroread, gv,
xpdf).
For Emacs I managed to find a workaround that makes it usable, by
specifying fonts in
