Well, actually compiz is not working.
When I run compiz it acts as loading, windows get redrawn but after
all happens I'm still on metacity.
It is happening since mesa was upgraded.
How can I get more debug information? I don't see any other output or log
that can help.

After last upgrade, it seems that any operation (opening,

The probles is exactly as described in the subject:
X is killed by the sequence Ctrl+Alt+F whichever .
This also affects "hibernate" becasue when hibernate wants to switch to

Screen sections are available, and an option to the Screen section must
be added then a new Screen section (linked to a specific Device section)
will be created.
No such thing as breaking the xorg.conf should happen with X-Kit.

Update of the situation:

Just to say that I'm having the same problem, but with:
- Wood
I'd like to use my ATI Radeon 9200se in my woody system.
I'm using the "Daniel Stone's XFree86 4.3.0 compiled for woody"
that used to be at:
http://people.debian.org/~mmagallo/packages/xfree86/i386/
but these packages doesn't support the chip id 2964.
According to:
