This looks like the same bug I encountered when upgrading to 1.19.6.
The system freeze is caused by some faulty logic that tries to use every
device (including ttys) with the libinput driver.

I can confirm that in libinput10 1.10.0-1 the defect persists :-/. It looks
like two finger scrolling is dragging instead of scrolling, caused by a
tiny time difference between the two fingers hitting the touchpad. Maybe a
minimum interval threshold for triggering a two finger gesture is not
implem
