I do have these settings properly set. The bug isn't really with
tearing on the main screen. It is with tearing on the non-primary screen.
I have the second screen set up as a separate X server running to my
TV. The tearing only occurs on the second X screen.

I hit this bug while testing Wheezy Beta 4.
I hope the patch
makes in ASAP as this is a showstopper. The gnome desktop is virtually
[pun intended] unusable until this is fixed in Debian. Strange to see
such a critical bug this late in the freeze for stable.
