Bug#668684: libdrm-nouveau1a: claims to be 2.4.33, but seems to really be 0.6

2012-04-13 Thread Robert Hooker

Mesa now requires the newer libdrm that hasn't been released yet. In libdrm 2.4.33 the version in l

Package: libdrm-nouveau1a Version: 2.4.33-1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer, I'm not certain if this is really a problem in libdrm-nouveau1a or libdrm-dev. Attempting to build nouveau mesa from git, it fails to configure due to pkg-config returning the wrong version (returns 0.6, 2.4.33+ is

Bug#666982: Same problem

2012-04-13 Thread Chris Chiappa
The binaries at http://people.debian.org/~kibi/packages/xorg-47266 seem to make the problem much worse for me - rather than eventual corruptime, mostly in iceweasel, I get missing fonts in gnome-terminals and the like (xterm seems unaffected). I have a Radeon 4350-based card, but I accidently just

I just encountered the same bug yesterday. I was running a custom kernel that did not have KMS enabled, and the radeon driver (6.14.4-1) crashes with a segfault upon startup (regardless of the KMS setting in modprobe, so it's not the setting but the KMS itself that made the difference).
