After the last upgrade, any attempt to start X (kdm, startx) fails, with
RADEON complaining
I was able to get X working.
I added:
Option "NoAccel" "true"
to my /etc/X11/xorg.conf file.
I had DRI also disabled but found I don't need to do that with the NoAccel line.
This gets me working but KDE complains about my settings when enabling
desktop effects.
