With the latest git code (git describe gives
xf86-video-intel-2.2.0-73-g02a3b80) from
git://git.freedesktop.org/git/xorg/driver/xf86-video-intel (is it the
right place to get the code?), I am still getting the same behavior.

It's not terribly interesting (it just unloads), but as you wish. I
uncommented the ignore in TV Out, here's the result.
