forums while I hunted for a solution to this, so I thought I would
pass on what info I have in hopes that it helps.

uptodate to sid versions.
Of course it could be a driver bug. But before closing the bug, don't
you find the fact that windows started before compiz are unaffected a
bit disturbing ?

Since the problem isn't in xterm, but in Xt resources, I reassigned
the bug to x11-common (because it's the package that ships
/etc/X11/Xresources)
