After the last dist-upgrade, the server X doesn't start.
I installed Nvidia driver by module-assistant, and all
seems to be right. After, I tried to install the driver
directly from the .run file downloaded fron Nvidia site,
but the problem is still t

It happened to me also (today), and after looking into several packages
and changing lots of things, the only thing that worked was to switch
from the driver provided by NVidia to the one in Xorg.
