Hi,
About 8 years ago, you reported a bug to the Debian BTS regarding
cyrillic fonts having incorrect bounding boxes (for instance a 10x20
font would actually use 11x20 pixels). Did you reproduce this problem
recently? In Xorg/Etch? If not, I will close this bug in the next weeks.

It seems that using a different configuration prevents the segfault:
