I'm having the same problem with both XFree86 4.1.0-17 from unstable,
and 4.2.0-0pre1v1. Please tell me if this is a known bug - thanks!
The problem is that the LCD backlight won't turn on after it was blanked
(by closing the lid while in graphics mode - the lid is configured in the
BIOS set

I am setting up my Debain iBook and I get an error about the xlibs config
when I try to install the rest of my packages in dselect. Because xlibs
isn't configured, it causes 164 packages to not finish being installed, so
it's kinda important that this is fixed. :)
