Hello, I recently installed the XFree86 4.0.2-1pre2v2 debs from people.debian.org/~branden and xf86cfg doesn't seem to work. When I start it, the screen flickers and shows xf86cfg for a second and then goes blank and comes back as plain twm. Here is the end of the output after killing the xserver:
