the bug was closed because the problem was fixed. well, it is back ;)
i think the *real* problem is that the respective directory is not part
of the webwml tree and so the wml files in it are not automatically

if i happened to translate a page (into german) and i am not a debian
developer (=no cvs access), what do i do with it? send it to this list
or to the translation coordinator (joey)?

on the german pages the "Über Debian" (about) icon in the red bar at the
top looks a bit awkward, because it'sn text is lower then on the other
icons. this is probably due to the very high capital U-umlaut. here is a
version that doesn't look that weird (imho)

the current threads on debian-devel about the nm-process make me think
that some confusion could be avoided in the future by small changes to
the new maintainer page encouraging interested person
