There is some misleading information in this page - Besides that (IMHO)
Alpha does not 'boast incredible speed all around' (compare it to a recent
Athlon!), it still talks about 'Compaq's commitment to supporting and
continuing the Alp
articipate on the debian-alpha list, and although I'm by no means
a kernel hacker, I really enjoy learning about this platform.
...And, anyway, it does not take a wizard to mantain a simple informative
page ;-)
