Live fonts has been resolved.
To repeat, there is no problem on Stretch, at least for the moment. Before
release it would be a good idea to throw an eye onto one of the PDFs, though.

and is by now fixed in unstable with new binaries and removed
symlinks for the URW fonts not to mess up fontconfig.
I have just now checked out trunk of release notes, and built the
Russian version on sid, and all looks fine.

it working in the old code base - which has been severly rewritten
in hthe meantime.

So, release managers: What do you suggest? What are the time lines
for the next point release? I will happily update every
necessary package, I think I have still the git branch for it.
