the new visitors. We need some short introduction to how to get Debian
installed onto user's system. Also to reduce ISO-image downloading by RH
users.

A few moments ago, top level index.en.html on www.debian.org was empty. I
believe this was because a rsync from klecker to gluck happened just in the
moment the index.en.html on klecker was getting rebuilt.
Denis, can you reduce or eliminate the time window when this happens?

lists to which you really should subscribe are debian-devel-announce and
debian-news. Those lists are both low-volume and often contain important
information
