I'm going to pitch in here and say that I think that a new name needs
to be thought of. arch isn't a Linux thing, because it's on Solaris,
too. I think it must be a sysV thingy. Anyway..that

for those interested: some first preliminary debian packages
of arch 1.0pre6 are available at
http://people.debian.org/~tali/
they install arch to /usr/bin/arch, which is far from being optimal.
