I request an adopter for the logwatch package.
I won't have enough time to make logwatch ready for lenny. The biggest
issue in logwatch is that upstream has not really been aware of the need
of proper copyright statements[1]. I can't resolve that in time for lenny.

your needs.
- I don't use it often enough.
- Nobody was willing to sponsor it.

Tilde escape commands in mailx for instances. Data input needs to be
accurately checked to avoid abuses. That's the reason to avoid in general
the use of such a command. Moreoveri, perl has different proper and
powerful methods to send e-mail. There is no need to spawn a program
like that. So
FYI: Michael Vogt has already done the first upload of logwatch. The
package is somewhere on the Debian servers and will hopefully be in
unstable soon.
