I request an adopter for the picprog package.

This is Picprog, a Microchip PIC microcontroller programmer software
for a simple serial port device.

Finding a sponsor is not always easy. I maintain the picprog package
for Debian and it has taken a long time ( > 3 years) before someone has
sponsered¹ my picprog package.

At the moment, I don't consider myself the right person to maintain piklab.
So, it's alright for me if someone else wants to take over packaging piklab.

nds. Does libstdc++6-4.0-dev work for your package ?
I have created a new package (picprog_1.8.1-2_i386.deb) which depends on
libstdc++6-4.0-dev and fixes the Homepage-issue.

Nice! I have tested it with a pic18f4620, works perfectly.
Thanks!
Like promised, I have created a deb-package for it.

I'm not sure what this means, I'll try to fix it when I have a little
more time.
Suggestions are welcome!

Indeed. You have done a great job. For me, it is alright that you take over
the creation of the rox-filer package file.

your
panel, you can drag it from /usr/share/apps/Debian/App/Graphics/The\ Gimp
to your panel.
Off course, it must be possible to create something like this without using
the AppDir method, for example by using symlinks. The only problem with
symlinks are the icons.

Met vriendelijke groetjes
Debian ROX should work like ROX. If it works
different (for example no AppDir), it should be renamed to something
else.
Anyway, If you create a rox-deb with working AppDir, then I think it is a
good idea to use your package instead of mine.
BTW.: Any plans to package rox-session? ;-)

Well, in my opinion, the best solution is that someone with more experience
takes over the creation of ROX.deb files. In the meanwhile, people can use
the .deb-files that I have created.
