This package seems to be not maintained actively upstream from past few years
So, anyone taking this up are requested to contact the upstream
maintainer for the status of the project

Hi Tobi,
Sorry for the late response as I was busy with real world stuff
However, have uploaded a new version of the package and have raised
bug no 846906 to get it into debian
Would love to continue contributing to debian as long as I can and
will have a check regularly from now on
