Nonpareil only needs Python during compilation, not at runtime, and only
indirectly through the use of SCons.
The Nonpareil source tarball comes with the "local" version of SCons in a
subdirectory, so you don't need to have SCons "installed" in order to
build

Hi Sam,
Do you have any news about your ITP for serpentine?
I remember that you had a package almost ready a few months ago already
and see it has not yet reached unstable.
I am now almost ready with Listen package which recommends Serpentine.
Thanks for updating.
Cheers,

On http://www.perrier.eu.org/debian/packages you will find very
preliminary packages for python-jtoolkit and pootle.

I used cdbs and quilt to build them so that

PLEASE! dd is not error prone nor slow. you just don't know how to use
it. if you read the manual page of dd you can see that you can use
larger blocksize using bs=1m for example.
I've cloned many disks and partitions using dd. and if you think
it's a dd error proneness when hardware fails, then
the URL seems be not to have the software anymore?

I request an adopter for the doc-linux-nl package.
The package description is:
The doc-linux-nl-html package provides current Dutch Linux HOWTOs,
mini-HOWTOs, and FAQs in HTML format. Alternatively, ASCII versions
are provided in the doc-linux-nl-text package.
