I think Debian needs a leader - I'll probably vote for Branden, just
to see what happens,
t a bit difficult... On the other
hand, I think it's a very, very positive aspect. Not many people can
just 'jump into' kernel development, but it doesn't take that much to
ramp up and do a .deb... it's a good stepping stone. In any event, I
still think a good leader could help foster the right sort of
atmosphere (Bruce wasn't perfect in that regard).

I can certainly agree that we need to make an effort to treat one
another civilly. I wonder why Debian seems worse off than other
project in this regard though? I don't see this much acrimony in
